GOALS
The website gives its visitors a taste of the exclusive and luxurious experience awaiting at Alaskan Sun Tanning salons. Colourful, dynamic graphics and energetic music encourage potential customers to visit one of the salons.
ACTIVITIES
The biggest challenge in designing this website was to present sunbathing without any reference to the sun. To achieve this, we abandoned yellow and orange colours in favour of light blue which dominates the layout. This was due to the link with the first part of the company's name - Alaskan, which you associate with winter and ice. The website was developed entirely in Flash, so it's dynamic, fresh looking and modern in keeping with the company's image.
